• Notes

  Married: In 1764 Charles Courtney sold 100 acres to Abraham Turner, who had married his daughter Mary Anne. Four years later, Turner died and left the land to his wife for life and then it was to be divided among all of her children. The widow then married Major Rayfield, by whom she had other children.
