  Married: As a result of his marriage to Sarah, daughter of Peter Parker, Samuel Simpson acquired a portion of Whitelaw's tract A95, which is adjacent to and on the south side of A103, which is in turn adjacent to and on the east side of A104. Thomas Simpson, Sr. and most of the other Simpson of the 1700's were living on or near these two tracts. Samuel's portion succeeded to a son Laban in 1760, who seven years later (wife Esther Barnes of William) left to his son Hancock Simpson.
