Biography* | See the Granger Family in Adv. of Purse & Person. He was shown in the records as Henry Armitrader, Junr. In 1735 he inherited land his father had bought from Robert Taylor, 60 acres between Jonathan Garrison and Edward Kellam, and his father's right to a mill dam. This land was located in Accomack Co, VA, between the present-day Onley and Melfa, off the highway toward Locustville. Accomack County records do not show Henry Armitrader, Junr. selling his land. The next owner of record was a Littleton Armitrader, presumably Henry's eldest son (Whitelaw, p. 850). With the exception of Littleton, nothing more has been found in Accomack County records of the children of Henry Armitrader, Junr and his wife Abigail (Bradford) after 1752. Son Henry evidently moved to Somerset Co, MD. | |

William Bradford wrote his will on 4 July 1735 and it was probated on 1 June 1736 (Acc Deeds & Wills, 1729-1737, part 1, p. 494).
