Peter Holland1
M, b. circa 1825, d. before 7 September 1838
Birth* | circa 1825 | Peter Holland was born circa 1825 at Worcester Co, MD.1 |
Death* | before 7 September 1838 | He died before 7 September 1838 at Worcester Co, MD. It was on this date that administration on the estates of Tabitha Holland, Richard Holland, Betsy Holland & Peter Holland were granted to Zecheriah Bowen. While no distribution has been found for the estate of Tabitha Holland, Zecheriah Bowen turned in the settlement of Peter Holland's estate on 19 Feb 1840. It consisted of a balance of $54.91 to be divided $18.30 each to "his (Peter's) brothers John Holland and William Holland and to sister Sally Bowen." On the same date the $54.91 estate of Elizabeth Holland was to be divided between the same 3 people. Richard Holland's estate of $54.91 was to go to the same 2 brothers and sister. These records show that Peter Holland, Betsy Holland, Richard Holland, William Holland, John Holland, and Sally Bowen were brothers and sisters and likely brothers and sisters of James Holland of James, who died in 1834, since John Holland was to settle his estate as well.2 |
Anecdote* | 1839 | Since it seems that James Holland's 2nd family all died in 1838, it is wondered if they were the victims of a house fire.3 |
