Nothing more was found concerning young William or a posthumous son. The widow Mary married Benjamin Griffith and in 1709 the Griffiths released to John Baker her dower interest in the land. In 1720 John Baker (wife Margaret) left the home part to son Josias and the rest of son John. He also had daughters Comfort and Hannah. Neither of the sons lived to enjoy the land and Margaret is known to have married a Tennant.7 |
