There is several Clark families on the 1782 Assessment in Mispillion Hundred, none (for whom there are records) of which cited a Richard. Likewise, there are Clark families in Broad Creek Hundred, with the same result. There are several Clark families for which there are minimal records. An examination of the information regarding Rev. Sydenham Thorne showed that he was associated with families in both Hundreds, in particular he performed the marriage of Miers Clark & Aletta Clowes in 1785. No relationship has been found.2 |
