That same year he received payment for services in expedition against Nanticoke Indians. Also in 1678 he purchased from Edward Wale and Elizabeth his wife the tracts Acquintica, made up of 2 parts, 300 acres and 200 acres and Friendship, 100 acres. These were located side by side on the north side of Pocomoke River a few miles upstream from Pitts Neck.3 |
