Bancker, Elihu Chauncey & James Montgomery of Philadelphia & my eldest son Littleton D. Teackle ... for the yearly support of son John ... the four are to control the stock & son John Justice Teackle is not to have any control ... All my estate not given or belonging to any of my children is to be sold & paying to my daughter Hetty, alias Esther M. F. Teackle, $5,000 including the stock & her legacy to equal eldest brother & 3 sisters for the like sums ... The remainder to be divided in 5 equal parts between my eldest son & 4 daughters or their issues & eldest son's is under the condition that no future account is hereafter to be exhibited between him & me, as we have had much dealings, but I discharge him from all accounts ... My Negro man Ephraim be hired or sold in this neighborhood for 7 years & at the end of 7 years be the right of son-in-law Charles N. Bancker to be made a free man by him & I direct my girl Elzy to serve 10 years & then the children she may bear to be free on their arrival at lawful age & for the faithful service of my black man Joseph Johnson, my slave William & woman Anne Goliah to my aforesaid son-in-law to be made free immediately & they to be provided for by a codicil to be annexed. I am accountable for the bond held by Mr. William S. White from my son Littleton & my brother-in-law Mr. Dennis & myself, otherwise there is no debt … Friend & brother-in-law Mr. Littleton Dennis, son-in-law Charles Bancker & eldest son Littleton Dennis Teackle Extrs. Witt: John Young, James Gibbons & William Cowley. Codicil: 29 Dec 1816 - Having sold the greater part of Gargatha land & improvements since the date of my last will, that I devised therein to my son John J. Teackle, for & as related to any part interest in the Gargatha lands & in lieu thereof, direct $3,000 may be made & raised out of my undivided estate for the purpose of the support & maintenance of my unfortunate son John J. Teackle, in addition to the bank stock, by aforesaid will & ... Witt: Major Hinman & John Cole. Prob: Codicil proved on 24 Nov 1817 & will proved on 29 Dec 1817. John Williams, the 2nd husband of Esther Taylor, acquired the remaining 5/6 of her brother Elias Taylor part of tract A141 through the medium of General Court deeds. John & Esther continued to live in Maryland and in 1788 John Williams (wife Esther) left to his son William the land where Williams was living on Assawoman Creek. William Williams is known to have been a doctor. When he came to Accomack Co to live is uncertain, but he married Margaret, the daughter of Henry & Scarburgh Custis of tract A94B. The earliest record of his name noted was in 1772 when he and his wife Margaret sold A37A, which she had inherited from her father. Among other children they had Elizabeth who married John Wharton of A121T across the creek. Margart survived the doctor and after her death the land was surveyed in 1820 for a division and showed 585 1/2 acres; 400 1/2 went to George W. Arbuckle and 185 to William H. West in right of his wife Ann C., they being the children of Edward Arbuckle and his wife Anne Williams of A141B. Mount Williams was A141C and the house was shown on a 1820 survey, but it has disappeared since that date.5 
Land inherited*1788He inherited land in 1788 at tract A141, Assawoman Creek, Accomack Co, VA. Whitelaw shows the remaining 5/6 of the Elias Taylor part of this tract, was south and southeast of the part containing the Arbuckle Place. No local disposition by any of the sisters was found, and it is believed that John Williams, the second husband of Esther Taylor, acquired it all through the medium of General Court deeds. The Williams' continued to live in Somerset, MD and in 1788 John Williams (wife Esther) left to his son William the land where William was then living on Assawaman Creek. William Williams is known to have been a doctor. When he came to Virginia to live is uncertain, but he married Margaret, the daughter of Henry and Scarburgh Custis of A94B. Listed with him were 1 male age 10-16, 3 females age 0-10, 1 female age 16-26, 1 female age 26-45, 1 female, age over 45, 1 free Negro and 21 slaves.6 
Will*6 March 1801William made a will on 6 March 1801 at Accomack Co, VA. To daughter Elizabeth Wharton all the Negroes & whatever property she has in her possession. To daughter Ann S. Arbuckle … & to her children which she may have by Edward Arbuckle Negroes Levi, Ron, Manny, David & Sall & what other property she may have in her possession. To Negroes Rachel, old Leah, Sinah, Joe, Agnes, Priss, Levin & Elsy their freedom after they arrive to age 21. Temperance Scott should live with my wife as one of the family & if she does not live with the family she is to be paid $20 per year for 5 years. I give unto George & Henry Arbuckle Jr. £12.10s which is their proportion left them by their uncle Henry C. Williams. To Ann C. Bayly £25 which is her proportion given her by her uncle Henry Custis Williams. To wife Margaret Williams the remainder of my property. Wife Margaret Williams Extr. Witt: Thomas T. Taylor, Samuel Holland & Walter Beavans. Codicil: 28 Dec 1802 - I erase the legacy left Ann Williams.7
