A large and complete line of drugs, drug sundries, paints, oils, varnish, school supplies, rubber goods and toilet articles are carried. Owing to this extensive business and Mr. Lucas' long experience in this line, he can buy goods at low prices and sell at figures which his competitor finds hard to equal. This store was established in 1881. Two courteous clerks are in attendance and 2500 square feet of floor space is utilized by the handsomely arranged stock. Mr. S. H. Lucas, the proprietor, was born in Virginia in 1846. He received his education there and moved to this city in 1868, and in 1869 went to work for the drug firm of W. R.
