Born and reared on Orchard Ridge, she was the daughter of Marmaduke and Rachel Mister. Interment was in the Old Churchyard, at Orchard Ridge "O'er the Gut." Mrs. Evans was the mother of Denard, Mitchel, Zekiah, Mason and Charity Evans Evans. She left her husband of 60 years and her 5 children. Church site, Orchard Ridge.
