Other than his mother, survivors include his sisters, Lucinda Marshall Ward and her husband Richard of Atlantic, and Theresa Marshall Ayars and her husband Steve of Springfield, OH; a brother, Chester Walter Marshall, Jr. and wife Sandy of State College, PA; stepfather, Clarence E. Fitchett of Sanford, and several nieces and nephews. Other than his father, he was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Royal and Annie White, and his paternal grandparents, Alfred and Anna Mae Marshall. Funeral services will be conducted from the chapel of the Williams-Parksley Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverends Wayne Asbury and Rickey Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Downing's Cemetery in Oak Hall. There will be a visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
