Anecdote* | According to Steve Turner citing the results of yDNA of some of their descendants, Zadock, Daniel, Laban and Levin (who only show up in Worcester or in their later migrations) are unplaced apparent DNA relations of Samuel I who stayed in Worcester, though for whatever reason were not named in wills or estates. According to yDNA of their descendants, they do look like probable grandsons or great-grandsons of Samuel I, of John Turner & Sarah Kellam of Accomack, or of a brother of that John, but so far we have no clear evidence of the exact line of descent to them. Therefore, they are shown as "unplaced" noting their yDNA shows close ties to the Edward I and Samuel I families that came out of Accomack consistent with a common 17th century or slightly earlier origin. Their origins are almost certainly tied to the Samuel I and Edward I lines in some as yet unknown way.1 | |
