Burial* | | William was buried at Liberty Hill Methodist Church Cemetery, Rivertown, Fulton Co, Georgia. The Liberty Hill Cemetery in which Daniel Buran is buried is a very old cemetery in what is now southwest Fulton County. It was in a small community called Rivertown near Rico in Campbell County. Both communities were near the Chattahochee River. Daniel's brother Dow Burran is buried in Piney Woods Cemetery in Rico about 3 miles from his brother. Most of the Burran's spelled their name with 2 R's, but Daniel was the exception. Liberty Hill Methodist Church was there in Rivertown and closed at the end of the 1800's. Many of its members joined Rico Methodist when it was begun several year later in 1900. The Liberty Hill Cemetery is on Rivertown Road a very short distance from the intersection with Campbellton Redwine Road. The cemetery is very grown up and neglected.1 |

Drummond III and his wife Sarah of Cape Charles; two step-children, Barbara Hall and Wayne Moore; seven great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Katie Lynn Drummond. Funeral services will be conducted today, Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. from the Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home with Mr. Barry Downing officiating. Interment will be in the Cape Charles Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the S.P.C.A. Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 164, Onley, VA 23418.
