He was married to Hester W. Milby (daughter of
Gilbert Milby and Elizabeth (Betsy) Kellam).
Hester W. Milby was born in 1805 in Accomack County, Va.. She died
in 1828 in Accomack County, Va.. George C. Ames and Hester W. Milby had the
following children:
