She was married to George S. Mapp (son of Howson Mapp III and Sally Smith) on 13 May 1829 in Accomack County, Va.. George S. Mapp was born in 1805 in Accomack County, Va.. He died in 1868 in Accomack County, Va.. Catherine C. Ames and George S. Mapp had the following children:

+152 iii. Esther Adelaide Mapp.
+153 iv. George Columbus Mapp.
154 v. Southy Mapp served in the military between 1861 and 1865 in Civil War. He died in 1865 in Petersburg, Va.. He was killed in Battle of Petersburg in 1865.
