His widow applied for a pension in Fountain Co, IN on 25 Apr 1845, age 85, stated Robert had died 13 or 30 Nov 1836 in Pickaway Co, OH. She referred to her brother living in IN on 30 Jan 1846. The children of the dec'd soldier were George (died in infancy), Elizabeth, Luther, Ann, Dorothy, Cassia and John P. Martin. The widow Nancy Martin died 19 Sep 1845 in Fountain Co, IN, at the home of her son John P. Martin who was age 51. She left these children: John P. and Luther Martin, Ann Cory, Dorothy Cory and Cassia Grant. In 1846 a Jeremiah Cory lived in Fountain Co, IN.1
