To my cousin Rachel Northam a certain parcel of land that my father Solomon Johnson bought of Wm. H. Beavans containing 50 acres. Biography*This John (wife Naomi or Ommey) was possibly the son of either Thomas (wife Tabitha) son of John (wife Keziah) or Thomas's brother John (wife Annabella).

Will - Witnessed*23 August 1784John Young witnessed a will on 23 August 1784 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that William Hope Savage, along with John Young and Naomi Young witnessed the will of George Dix, wife Bridget.3 
Land sold*1785John sold land in 1785 at Accomack Co, VA. In 1778 Thomas Young and his wife Tabitha sold as 60 acres of tract A114 near Parksley, it being the part above the branch, and the purchaser was Spencer Hickman. Two years later (1780) he and his wife Lisha resold to John Young, and five years after that (1785) he and his wife Naomy sold to Hampton Hickman..1 
Land sold1787John sold land in 1787 at Accomack Co, VA. In 1785 Stephen and Leah Bell sold as 50 acres of tract A124, between Parksley and Bloxom, to John Young, and two years later (1787) he and his wife Neomi resold to John Moore..4

Death*1909Whittington died in 1909. Mr. Roger Groton, a resident of Groton Town, related that Whittington Trader was a wealthy man, that he owned the southern half of Hallwood. He died testate in August of 1909 (Acc Co Wills 1904-1920, p. 191), leaving all this personal property and real estate south of "Mesongo Public Road" to his widow, Elizabeth A. Trader. Other real estate was devised to his half-brother, Thomas A. German, who was in business with him under the name of Trader and German. W. W. Trader and wife Elizabeth A. Justice Trader had no children..2 
Burial*His body was interred at Groton's Cem, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.2
