Birth*circa 1768Daniel (b/o Revell) Twiford was born circa 1768 at Accomack Co, VA. The parents shown for the known brothers Revell, Daniel & Zorobable Twiford is tentative. Since they were not named as sons in any Twiford wills, they were evidently the sons of someone who died intestate and before the 1800 census, since there doesn't seem to be a good candidate there for a father. Zorobabel Twiford was in the 1800 census with 2M0-10 & 2M10-16, but his brothers Revell & Daniel would have both been over age 26 and may have been in the households headed by Robert Twiford of Drummond Town or his son Dr. John O. Twiford who both had males age 26-45 with them. Since the 1787 personal tax list showed that Zorobabel Twiford was charged with paying the taxes for John Twiford (1725-1798), John seems to be the logical choice for their father.1,3,2

Marriagecirca 1770He married Violetta (123) Addison, daughter of Elijah (66) Addison and Jemima (44) Bradford, circa 1770 at Accomack Co, VA. It seems likely that Violetta Addison, the mother of John Purnell Outten, first married a son of Purnell Outten (1722-1795) of Somerset County and that would have been either John (born 1745) or Shadrach (born 1748) and since her son's name was John, John (born 1745) is the likely choice..2,3
