Toward the end of the century, adjacent surveys showed that the Solomon land had been the southwest corner of the whole and that a part of it was owned by George Bundick.1

Land bought*1752William (f/o Isaiah & Isaac) Hickman Junr bought land in 1752 at tract A115, east of Parksley, Accomack Co, VA. In 1724 Benjamin Hickman, now living in Somerset County, sold his inherited 135 acres to Joseph Hickman, and in 1752 he sold to William Hickman Jr. He is believed to have been the William Hickman who died intestate in 1778, his estate being administered to Isaiah Hickman, presumably his son and heir-at-law. In 1806 Isaiah left his land to his daughters Polly Hickman and Rebeccah Wright, the wife of Thomas. Two years later the land was surveyed and each received 76 acres; Polly's land was at the upper end, below the George Warner property, so the latter land must have been in the northwest corner of the whole, and the Isaiah Hickman bequested land evidently lay below it along the wester boundary of the tract.1
Death*before 28 July 1778He died before 28 July 1778 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that administration on the estate of William Hickman was granted to Isaiah Hickman with Thomas Hickman securities.3

Land inherited*10 February 1798He inherited land on 10 February 1798 at tract A116, Rue, Accomack Co, VA. Edward Hickman's children were named in the division of his land in settling his estate. The northern 56 acres was divided into 3 portions, as was the southern 50 acre strip. Son Richard received 17 1/2 acres of the 56 acres, son George received 18 1/2 acres of the 56 acres, and Stephen & Robert Hickman jointly received 20 acres of the 56 acres and it is assumed they were the sons of a dec'd child who had died before Edward. The 56 acres that were divided into these 3 tracts eventually became owned by Zepporah Ann Hickman Morten, seemingly the orphan daughter of Richard Hickman and were sold by her and her husband Thomas Morten of Somersette County, New Jersey, to James Rew of Accomack County in 1830 (Acc Deeds 1828-1830, p. 446). Henry Hickman received 15 acres of the southern 50 acre tract and the deed names his wife Scissey Hickman. This was probably Lissa Bayly that Henry is recorded as marrying in 1789. Thomas Hickman received 16 acres of the southern 50 acre tract and Dennis Hickman received the remaining acres of the southern 50 acre tract although his deed is not included with the 5 recorded in the division of 1798. Dennis & wife Bridget signed the other deeds and the next year (1799) they made a deed selling his brother Thomas Hickman's 18 1/2 acres for 55 pounds "The whole that fell to him by the death of his father" (Acc District Court Wills & Deeds, 1789-1799, p. 445). In 1806 Dennis and Bridget signed another deed selling Thomas (of Edward) the 3 acres of land that was Dennis' share of his late brother Henry Hickman's land.2
Will*24 December 1804George made a will on 24 December 1804 at Accomack Co, VA. To brother Richard Hickman all my land I inherited by the death of my father & my brother. Birth*circa 1750(d/o Edward) Hickman was born circa 1750 at Accomack Co, VA.1
Marriage*circa 1770She married Constable Thomas Hickman circa 1770 at Accomack Co, VA. The Robert Hickman and Stephen Hickman, sons of Constable Thomas Hickman by a former marriage, appear to have been the same Robert and Stephen who inherited, together, 1/6 of the real estate of the Edward Hickman who died intestate in 1797. Evidently Edward Hickman had a daughter who predeceased her fahter, and was the mother of Robert & Stephen Hickman. She would have been a sister to Thomas Hickman B.S. who married Constable Thomas Hickman and died before 1785, when he remarried Delaney Lilliston. This would also explain the close ties between these two families.2

Marriage*circa 1795She married Thomas (of Edward) Hickman (blacksmith, son of Edward Hickman and Elizabeth Wright, circa 1795 at Accomack Co, VA. There is not record of Thomas Hickman's marriage, but he is joined by wife Lucretia in signing the deeds that divided his father's property in 1798. The only inference to her maiden name is a deed in 1807, in which Thomas Hickman B.S. and wife Lucretia join William Middleton in selling land to John Cropper (Acc Deeds 1804-1807, p. 720). This implies that she was a Middleton.1
