On 1 Nov 1722 John Carter and Elizabeth Carter of Dorcester County gave 200 acres of this tract and part of tract Long Ridge to Sarah Davis. On 18 June 1727 Sarah Davis, for love, gave to son John Davis land bought of John Carter. In 1736/37 John Carter, per will, gave his plantation to son Charles Carter (unnamed). By 25 Feb 1765 was was owned by Samuel Cox, who sold 100 acres to Solomon Bird, as John Davis had parcels in Annamessex that he willed in 1762 to Samuel Cox.2

On 1 Nov 1722 John Carter and Elizabeth Carter of Dorcester County gave 200 acres of this tract and part of tract Long Ridge to Sarah Davis. On 18 June 1727 Sarah Davis, for love, gave to son John Davis land bought of John Carter. In 1736/37 John Carter, per will, gave his plantation to son Charles Carter (unnamed). By 25 Feb 1765 was was owned by Samuel Cox, who sold 100 acres to Solomon Bird, as John Davis had parcels in Annamessex that he willed in 1762 to Samuel Cox.2
