In 1767 William and Sophia Milbourn sold 85 aces to William Merrill, and 2 years later 2 smaller pieces.3 
Land bought*1740He bought land in 1740 at tract A162, Bullbegger, Acc Co, VA. Jabez Pitt sold part of this tract to Ralph Milburn of Maryland, who later left to his son Nahtan. In 1768 Nathan Milburn, calling himself a cooper, and his wife Rebecca sold to James Broadwarter, who also had purchased 25 acres from the Loughland land to the north.1

In obedience to a decree rendered 22 Feb 1841 in a suit in chancery then pending between Noah G. Duncan & Louisa his wife plantiff vs Peter Corbin & wife et. al. defendants, I have surveyed the land in the proceedings of that cause situated in Acco. Parish near Pocomoke River (called Milligan Land) and ascertained the content to be 248.56 acres. I also laid out 146.802 acres of land and marsh on the wester side of said tract including all the buildings on the said land which is disignated No. 1 on the subjoined plat and which the Commissioners considered to be equal in value to 2/3 of said land assigned to the plantiff Louisa Duncan, wife of Noah G. Duncan for her interest in fee simple. I then divided the remainder of said tract into 3 lots designated on the subjoined plat No. 2, No. 3 & No. 4. No. 2 containing 32.278 acres of land & marsh was assigned to Jacob Cullen & wife in right of said wife. No. 3 containing 31.997 acres of land was assigned to Peter Corbin & wife in right of said wife. No. 4 containing 47.483 acres of land was assigned to John & Spencer Fletcher (orphans of Spencer). I then laid our the dower on the Three several lots marked with the dotted line the subjoined plat which was assigned to the said Louisa Duncan for her dower in. Signed Geo. M.
