The Townsend Family Bible, copyright 1793, in the Dover Archieves (which is faint) shows Elisabeth Johnson the daughter of Isaac Johnson and Mary his wife was born September the 8th day about one o'clock in the morning, 1810. Just above this entry in the Bible were the births of Esther Evans Johnson, daughter of Luke Johnson & his wife Sarah, born 31 Dec 1806 and Isaac Johnson, son of Luke Johnson & Sarah his wife, born 31 Jul 1809 with a note that these two names on these two leaves Rote By me Luke Johnson April 24th 1810.4,3,5
