Deposition*11 November 1663He gave a deposition on 11 November 1663 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as John Ricketts, aged about 23 years: At the June Court, Ricketts heard John Rogers say that he thought there would be a lawsuit between Ricketts' master and Rogers about a cow that Ricketts' master killed. Rogers admitted believing the cow belonged to Ricketts' master. However, Capt. Parker urged Rogers to sue Ricketts' master, saying that Parker would recover the cow for Rogers. Rogers further said that he would not have troubled Ricketts' master, but Capt. Parker "set him on" and would "put a thorn" in the foot of Richetts' master. Signed, John Ricketts.3
