Land sold*1768He sold land in 1768 at Coram, Worcester Co, MD. On 20 May 1761 John Thorogood of Princess Anne Co, VA, with wife Mary Sanford Thorogood sold the tract Coram to John Dennis Jr. of Worcester Co, MD, land that Samuel Sanford willed to Susanna Sanford and Mary Sanford. Then in 1768 John Thorogood, son of John of Princess Anne, VA sold to John Dennis 500 acres his claim on land unnamed. (NOTE: The wife Mary Sanford Thorogood is probably the person of that name, #526 in Adventurers of Purse and Person, but Dorman shows her as unmarried. The John Thorogood who released his claim on the land in 1768 is probably the person of that name, #529, who was Mary Sanford Thorogood's brother.)1
