Memorial Hospital, was held at the Parksley Funeral Home on Friday, 26 Oct at 2 p.m. with interment in the Wessells cemetery at Mears. Surviving besides his parents are one sister, Mrs. Fred Tull Mears of Parksley and 2 brothers Granville James and Leslie Carroll Gladding of Bloxom. He was born at Bloxom on 1 Oct 1948..1,2

Biography*Mr. George C. Bloxom was killed in his auto when it was struck by a south bound express train at Greenbrush on 27 Mar 1915, aged 31 years. Rev. R.S. Monds conducted the service and interment was in Bloxom Cemetery. He was survived by a wife and 3 small children (Acc News, 3 Apr 1915). He and his wife are both now burried at Parksley Cemetery.
