Biography*In 1850, this Richard Marshall, age 10, was living with Elijah Miles, a 48 year old farmer, and his family, which included a son Elijah J. Miles, age 22. This Miles family was living among Chases, Halls, Simpsons, Birds, Wessells, Smalls and Knights. In 1860, probably this same Richard Marshall, age 30, but with no occupation listed, was living with Elijah J. Miles, age 32, who was evidently the son of the Elijah Miles who Richard was living with in 1850.

Obituary - Brother's*15 October 1972He was named in his brother's obituary on 15 October 1972 at Lee Mont, Accomack Co, VA. Mr. Roland F. Marshall, 71, of Accomac died in Chester County Hospital, West Chester, PA, Sunday evening October 15. He was born at Onancock and was the son of Jefferson Marshall and Mrs. Alice Smith Marshall and his wife was Mrs. Lillian Elliott Marshall. He was E.I. Dupont de Nemours Co. Executive for thirty-seven years, retiring several years ago. Mr. Marshall was a member of Drummondtown Methodist Church, was Lay Leader of the Church and served on the Nominating Committee, Finance Committee and Pastorial Relations Committee of that church. He was also a very active member of the Accomack-Northampton Camp of Gideons International and was a member of DuPont Lodge No. 29 A.F. & A.M. and Delaware Consistory. Besides his wife, Mr. Marshall is survived by a son Mr. Calvin Marshall of New Castle, Del; a daughter Mrs. Coates Coleman of West Chester, PA, five grandchildren, Miss Debbie Marshall and John Marshall of New Castle, Del., John, Tommy and David Coleman of West Chester, Pa; three sissters, Mrs. Winnie Lewis of Keyport, NJ, Mrs. Ruby Taylor of Lee Mont and Mrs. Charles Stucke of San Jose, Calif; and a brother, Mr. Otho Marshall of Lee Mont. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 19 at Drummondtown Methodist Church, at 2:00 pm conducted by his pastor, Rev. Raymond P. Sharp and interment will be in the Parksley Cemetery. Arrangements by the Lilliston Funeral Home, Accomac.4

Biography*George Marshall would have been either the male under 10 living with his father Benjamin Jr. or with his grandfather Benjamin Sr. in the 1810 Census. His grandfather, George Bunting, Sr., left his grandson, George Marshall, the son of Betsy Marshall, a slave in his will, written 11 Mar 1808. No other record of this George Marshall has been found in Acc Co.
