I therefore will not give John Brickhouse Sen nor any one that can heir from him one cent except Peggy Parker formerly Peggy Floyd & I give her all the money that John Brickhouse Sen who is my father by the laws of the land owes me. I hope it will also be known that if John Brickhouse Sen who is my lawful father had treated me as not only a child but as one honest man ought to have treated another I should not have made this or any other will and it is my will that if it should be interpreted that he the aforesaid John Brickhouse Sen or any of his heirs (Peggy Parker aforesaid excepted should by any error or default in my not knowing how to word this will come in for any part of my property & my will can't be so construed as to keep the aforesaid John Brickhouse Sen or his heirs from getting a part of my property I now possess in that case & in no other rather than the aforesaid John Brickhouse Sen or any of his heirs should have any of my property, I give it to be laid out in schooling the children in the poorhouse. It is my desire that Zorobabel Henderson & William Powell act as executors. I hope that they Wm Powell, Zorobabel Henderson, Nath'l Holland, George Holt, Rickards Dunton Jr. & Southy Webb will act as Commissioners and see that all my just debts is paid & no more & advertise in the Norfolk Herald & in one of the newspapers in Baltimore for all claims that can be brought against Major Brickhouse himself or West & Brickhouse or William Henderson Jr. to be brought in.
