Mr. Tomas Taylor Sr., a highly esteemed citizen of Snow Hill, MD, died Saturday, Feb 27th, of paralysis, aged 66 years. Funeral services were held in Greenbackville Cemetery, Monday. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ethel Phillips, of Baltimore, Mrs. L.A. Carey, of Snow Hill, and Mrs. Weston Evans, of Saxis, and six sons, Messers, Leonard Taylor, of Felton, Del; Oscar Taylor, of Keller, Harry Taylor, of Atlantic, Thomas Taylor, Jr., of Snow Hill, Ray Taylor and James Taylor, of New Church. (Note: 27 Feb 1938 was actually a Sunday, so he may have died on the 26th of Feb.)

Freddie Ward officiating and interment will be at a later date.3
