To his grandson Bryan Collony he gave the island neck of land up to the hdline towards Kellam's land, and bounding otherwise by the 300 ac formerly given to his father Owen Collony, also one cow called "Mealy Mouth", one mare called "Mall." I give unto my son-in-law William Sill 1/3 profits of an orchard on the land given unto my grandson Brian Collony, for the space of seven years, provided he will keep and maintain said orchard fence in sufficient repair, and I give him the benefit of the great pasture for his own creatures in moyreeling (mireing) time, together with my son Owen Collony for the space of four years provided he help my son Owen Collony to keep up and secure the said pasture fence, same is to be understood my meaning about the orchard fence. I give unto my son-in-law Stephen Warrington a Kersie gown lined with purple baze and his wife one cow called Prittie. I give unto Arnold Harrison my son-in-law a purple gown. Deed of Gift - Rec'd*5 March 1658/59She received by deed of gift on 5 March 1658/59 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that James Barnaby, on behalf of William Stephens, gave to the God daughter of said Stephens, Elizabeth Foscutt, daughter of Simon Ffoscott, one cow calf.2 
Deposition*3 February 1672/73She gave a deposition on 3 February 1672/73 at Northampton Co, VA. Elizabeth Foscue, aged near 15 years, deposed that Marcus Hagamond, the 3rd of this instant month, came to the house of my father Symon Foscue and then and there declared of his own free will that he saw my father's servant Wm. Morgan, aged near 18, lye with Elizabeth Cooke three times in a hundred yards & five times between Mr. Lukes and my father's and engaged me that I should not declare it.4,3

Since is would be extremely unusual for two individuals to purchase a farm in partnership unless there were closely connected by blood, Mark Lewis believed it is safe to assuem that Cornelius Carman and Symon Foscue II were brothers-in-law, through the marriage of Cornelius to Symon's only sister Elizabeth, and that Elizabeth named her son Symon after her father and brother..5,1

Will - Husb's*22 February 1706/7Elizabeth was named in her husband's will on 22 February 1706/7 at Accomack Co, VA. In his will Cornelius Harman, wife Elizabeth, named sons William (eldest), Cornelius (under age) & Symon (under age) and daughters Anne, Hannah, Sarah & Mary (youngest).5

Administrator*2 May 1711Richard was named as administrator of an estate on 2 May 1711 at Accomack Co, VA. Richard Savage was granted administration of the estate of John Lecat (deceased), that was in the possession of Thomasin Lecat, who had recently died as well. He swore that she had made no will; Thomas Bagwell and William Savage were accepted as security. Before the next court John Willis, Robert Savage, Daniel Willis and Bartholomu Twiford (or any three of them) were to inventory and appraise the goods left to Thomasin Lecat by the will of John Lecat (both now deceased).2 
Anecdote*3 May 1726 On 3 May 1726 in Accomack Court Mary Savage presented and acknowledged a deed of gift to her 4 sons: Rowland, Richard, Robert & John.3 
Will - Brother's*29 December 1728Richard was named in his brother's will on 29 December 1728 at Accomack Co, VA. In his will John Savage gave to his wife the best bed, the chest called hers and her riding horse and saddle. To son Charles (under 18) plantation where I now live, 2 guns and set of wedges. To daughter Patience Savage (under age 21) a great trunk, bed and trundle bed with a blue rug, English oval table, one chest and various items of pewter. To daughter Mary Savage (under age 21), my chest, one Virginia oval table, a bed and various items of pewter. Balance of estate to wife during her widow. Overseers Francis Savage & John Savage. Should all my children die whole estate to Francis & John Savage & should either of them die without heirs their estate equally to be given to Rowland Savage, son of Robert(sic) (Richard) Savage, & Richard Savage, son of Richard Savage, but if the said Francis Savage should die without heirs then his part to fall to his brother Richard, and if John should die without heirs his part to be his brother Rowland's. Wife (no name) Extr. Witt: John Foscue, Richard Savage, William Harmon. (NOTE: Ames, Mears & Allied Lines shows that his wife was to be Extr with his nephews Francis and John Savage overseers of the will.)4,5 
Land bought*1736He bought land in 1736 at tract A41, east of Rt 13 between Keller & Painter, Accomack Co, VA. William Savage, who in 1727 (wife Feby) left this tract to his son Parker. In 1736 Parker & Sarah Savage, with his mother Pheby French, sold to Richard Savage, who 3 years later left to his son Rowland. It thus became merged with the Savage part of tract A39, and eventually was a part of the large holdings of the Mears family.6
