However, Mary Studson had married Thomas Peale I and had a son Thomas Peale II much earlier than Dorman & Bell had assumed, so this Mary Studson was not the sister Mary Bell named in the will of Arnall Parramore..2,3,4

Will - Brother's*before 11 January 1734Michael was named in his brother's will before 11 January 1734 at Northampton Co, VA. It was shortly before this date that Elias Dunton, Michael Dunton & Abigal 'X' Dunton witnessed the undated will of William Dunton, which was probated by his wife Elizabeth on this date. (NOTE: Elias and Michael were brothers of William and it is assumed that Abigail was the wife of one of them. Since it is known that Michael married Abigail (Belote) Edwards, widow of Edward Roberts, after 11 July 1749 when his will probated, this Abigail was probably the wife of Elias.)3
Marriage*after 12 February 1750He married Abigail Belote, daughter of John Belote III and Annah (-----), after 12 February 1750 at Northampton Co, VA.4
Will*5 March 1754He made a will on 5 March 1754 at Northampton Co, VA. To my son Elias (under lawful age) my house and plantation whereon I now live. Elizabeth Andrews and Leah Dunton n. girl Bet and n. boy Nim when younger dau. is 20. Six or more shoats to be fatned to vichial the work men. Corn and tobacco to be sold to shingle my house which I bought of my brother. Son Elias and son in law John Andrews extrs. Witt: Laban Stott, Levin Dunton, Elias Dunton, Jr., Addison Nottingham..5,2
Death*before 12 March 1754Michael died before 12 March 1754 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that his will was probated..5,2
Land left*1754He left land in 1754 at tract N54, west of Matchapungo, Northampton Co, VA. Michael (wife Abigail) Dunton left the home place to his son Elias and that bought from his brother Elias to his son Southey, but if either died without heirs his part was to go to another son William. In 1759 Southey Dunton left to wife Rose and then a child if she had one. Apparently there was no heir as a later document showed that this 100 acres had gone to his brother William and after his intestate death to his brother Elias. In 1777 Elias Dunton Jr. (wife Sophia) left the 200 acres to his son Michael. 1783 During the next two years, Michael and Rosannah Dunton sold 48 1/2 acres to Hancock Jacob; 109 acres to Abel Nottinham; and 49 acres to Josiah Heath.6
