Will - Bro-Half*9 May 1805William was named in his half-brother's will on 9 May 1805 at Northampton Co, VA. In his will Jesse Jarvis gave half of my land to my brother Obediah Hunt and his heirs forever with paying my brother William Jarvis the just and full sum of four hundred pounds. The other half of my land I lend to my sister Sally Simkins during her natural life and then to her children forever that she has by my brother in law Arthur Simkins paying my brother William Jarvis the just sum of fifty pounds. I leave my horse, bridle and saddle to my cousin William Goffigon. All the rest of my property to be equally divided between my brother Obediah Hunt and my sister Sally Simkins.
