In his grandfather, John Silverthorn's will, Kendall's father William's first male heir was to inherit 221 acres of land where the grandfather then lived. Since Kendall was left this land by his father William, he must have been the first male child and since his grandfather's will didn't mention him by name, it is assumed that he was born after his grandfather's will was written, 18 Dec 1785..2

Burial*His body was interred at Boggs Burial Ground, Cashville, Acc Co, VA. His tombstone shows him as Thomas Underhill, the husband of Nancy..3 
Admin of estate*30 April 1855Administration of Thomas's estate was filed on 30 April 1855 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that James D. Underhill was named to settle the estate of Thomas Underhill. William C. Waters & Henry J. Boggs were the securities.14
