Funeral services will take place today at 3 p.m. at the home. Burial will be in Mt. Holly cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jeter Marsh, of Onley, and Mrs. John Duncan, of Pocomoke City, MD, three sons, Messrs. Chester Savage of Philadelphia, George and Brantley Savage, and three brothers, Messrs. Will, Ben and Orris Parks of Onley.4

She was given my plantation containing 33 acres adjoining William W. Kellam, Thomas Lilliston & others for 10 years and then to Margaret Ann Dix, Elizbeth Dix & Mary Dix, daughters of Molly Dix (all under lawful age)..1 
Land inherited*1834She inherited land in 1834 at tract A117, Metomkin, Accomack Co, VA. John Snead left the 53 acres of this tract, that he bought in 1821 from the widow Esther West & her son Isaac and his wife Sally, to Margaret Ann, Elizabeth and Mary, the daughters of Molly Dix. No relationship was shown.2 
Census head*1840Molly was listed as a head of household in the census of 1840 at Accomack Parish, Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as Molly Dix a head of household, age 40-50. Listed with her were 1F10-15 & 1F15-20. (NOTE: These were probably her daughters Margaret Ann and Mary as her daughter Elizabeth marrid Joseph Hopkins in Mar 1840.)3
