She was sent to Kenilworth Castle, and her property was seized, but later restored. About this time she is said to have had a liaison with Edmund de Holand, Earl of Kent, and had a daughter, Alianor, wife of James Tuchet, Lord Audley.2

Burial*Her body was interred at Abbey of Reading.2

In 1796 Matthew Respess and wife Sophia sold 202 ac of this tract to Thomas Nottingham who left the next year to son Jacob. In 1809 Jacob Nottingham left to wife Bridget until son Smith became 21, when it was to be sold. In 1820 Nottingham heirs united in a sale to Nathaniel Burris.3 
Will*21 January 1804Jacob made a will on 21 January 1804 at Northampton Co, VA. In his will Jacob Nottingham Sen lent loving wife Bridget Nottingham my plantation with my Negroes until my son Smith Nottingham arrives to the age of twenty one years with her supporting and educating my children until that period. It is my will and desire then that my lands should be sold and the money arising from such sale should be equally divided between all my children. I nominate my brother William Nottingham executor. Signed, Jacob Nottingham. Witnesses: Wm. Wilkins, Wm Kendall and Robert Wilkins.1

Land sold by admrs*9 October 1820He's land was sold by administrators on 9 October 1820 at tract N38, N.E. of Cheriton, Northampton Co, VA. Report of Sale of Land of Jacob Nottingham Sen by Jacob Nottingham and Thomas S. Satchell administrators. "The subscribers as executors of William Nottingham Senr dec'd who was executor of Jacob Nottingham dec'd proceeded on the 9th day of October last to sell the lands of sd Jacob Nottingham dec'd as directed in his will, after having duly advertised the same, and Nathaniel Burris became the purchaser at the price of $6230. We considered that the widow's retaining her dower in said land would be very injurious to the sale thereof and we contracted with her to give her 10 percent of the sale thereof in lieu of her dower therein." Signed, Jacob Nottingham and Thomas Satchell.3 
Est inv filed*13 March 1821He's inventory was recorded on 13 March 1821 at Northampton Co, VA. In the Inventory and Appraisement of Jacob Nottingham's estate there is a list of his slaves: Nat, James, Isaac, George, Dowley, Comfort, Betty and child Finnetty, Ben, John, Eli and Nicy. In WB 36 page 204 there is a division of slaves between Obediah Hunt in right of his wife, Smith B. Nottingham, Thomas Nottingham, William Nottingham and Mary S. Nottingham. It does not say who these slaves belonged to but the names of the slaves are Nat, Betty and Fanny, Eli, Finnetta, Dowly, Ben, James, Nicy, John and Isaac.5
