Tabitha married Edward Kilman and in 1794 a survey gave each of the daughters 29 acres (Whitelaw, p. 1117 - tract A113).4 
Will*9 May 1788Solomon made a will on 9 May 1788 at Accomack Co, VA. In his will Solomon Gray gave to son Solomon Gray 60 acres at the northwest end of my plantation. Remainder of my land to my two daughters, Tabitha and Ann Gray, and for want of heirs to my daughter Sarah Gray. To son Thomas Gray, he to have liberty to get timber to support and supply the seaside plantation which he is heir to. William Thornton and Parker Paradise Executors. Witnesses Benjamin West and Richard Sparrow. In order of probate, John Bundick qualified.5

Madox; that the said Jacob Bird at the time of his death was seized in his own right in fee simple of two tracts of land situate near the New Church containing 200 acres and the other situate near the head of Onancock containing 110 acres, which tracts of land descended to his four children aforesaid subject to the dower of his said widow; that since the death of the said Jacob Bird his widow Polly has married a certain Samuel H. Madox, who by deed dated ____ conveyed to a certain William T. Rodgers all the right of dower of said Polly in the aforesaid land &c.2
