Mr. Tull was born near New Church, Va., and was the son of the late John and Esther Tull. As a young man he clerked in a store at Jenkins Bridge, retiring from this to go to Philadelphia, where he engaged in the commission business for some years, previous to going to New York, where he became a very successful business man and commission merchant. He later moved to Hudson, Mass., where he had resided since retiring from business about 5 years ago. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. After funeral services were held over the remains in Hudson, Mass., they were brought to Pocomoke City, Md., and interred beside his first wife in the M.P. Cemetery, Rev. A.D. Ewell, of the M.P. Church, officiating. He is survived by his second wife, Mrs. Lucy M. Tull, five children, Mrs. Ralpph Fieldsend of Hudson, Mass., Messrs. Charles, Lloyd and Harold Tull of New York, John Edwin Tull of Boston, Mass., a half-sister Mrs. L. Floyd Nock of Accomac, Va, and one half-brother, Mr. Lloyd Brittingham of New Church.4

In case the Chincoteague Baptist church should go down & cease to be a place of worship of that denomination, then the amounts named shall be applied to the next nearest Baptist church. Obituary - half Bro*5 September 1931Lloyd Brittingham was named in his half-brother's obituary on 5 September 1931 at Hudson, Mass. Mr. George W. Tull, formerly of Accomack County, passed away at this home in Hudson, Mass., Friday, August 28th, aged 82 years. Mr. Tull was born near New Church, Va., and was the son of the late John and Esther Tull. As a young man he clerked in a store at Jenkins Bridge, retiring from this to go to Philadelphia, where he engaged in the commission business for some years, previous to going to New York, where he became a very successful business man and commission merchant. He later moved to Hudson, Mass., where he had resided since retiring from business about 5 years ago. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. After funeral services were held over the remains in Hudson, Mass., they were brought to Pocomoke City, Md., and interred beside his first wife in the M.P. Cemetery, Rev. A.D. Ewell, of the M.P. Church, officiating. He is survived by his second wife, Mrs. Lucy M. Tull, five children, Mrs. Ralpph Fieldsend of Hudson, Mass., Messrs. Charles, Lloyd and Harold Tull of New York, John Edwin Tull of Boston, Mass., a half-sister Mrs. L. Floyd Nock of Accomac, Va, and one half-brother, Mr. Lloyd Brittingham of New Church.4

The entire 250 acres was surveyed on 11 Dec 1798 for a division for William Nock's children (Acc Surveyor's Record #2, p. 103). They were Mary/Molly Nock who had married Joseph Conquest, Elijah Nock Jr., James Nock, and Comfort Nock who later married Staton Taylor.3

That one James Nock was lately seized of and in a tract of land containing 81 1/2 acres as of fee, situate in Accomack Parish, and afterwards, to-wit: on the ____ day of ____ died, being of full age and without issue, leaving the aforesaid John Finney his brother of the half blood, and the aforesaid Elijah Nock and the aforesaid Mary, the wife of Joseph Conquest, and the said Comfort, the wife of the said Shadrack Taylor, his brother and sisters of the whole blood who survived him and entered into the lands and were seized thereof as of fee - ____ 1804.1

Bastard Father of*3 November 1724He was named as the father of a bastard child on 3 November 1724 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that Thomas Jenkinson agreed to pay the fine of Elizabeth Boggs (a single woman) for fornication. Ordered that he pay the church wardens 500 lbs tobacco for the use of the parish. Thomas Jenkinson bound himself to the church wardens to keep the parish from having to support the child born to Eliz: Boggs, a single woman. At the November court Elizabeth Boggs was presented for fornication and bastardy. Ordered taken into custody, she appeared at this court and swore that her child was fathered by Ralph Smith. Ordered that the sheriff take Smith into custody till he posted a bond for his appearance at the next court.3
