The daughters were Mrs. Herman Landon and Mrs. Wm. Franklin of Crisfield (this would have been Mary R. and Grace P., but which daughter married which man?).6

She had lived in Greenbackville for about 18 years. She is survived by her husband, Norman M. Brittingham, Greenbackville; a daughter, Mrs. James Crowley, Salisbury; two sons, William E. Brittingham, Philadelphia, and Claton M. Brittingham, Greenbackville; ten grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Daisy Wilson, Exmore, Mrs. Clayton Bennett and Mrs. James Bowden, both of Chester, Pa; and five brothers, Elwood, John, and Willis Shaw, all of Cape Charles and Orris and Otho Shaw, both of Chester, Pa. Funeral services were to be held today at 2 p.m. in the Dennis and Watson Funeral Home, Pocomoke City, with the Elder Robert L. Kirk, pastor of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, of which Mrs. Brittingham was a member, officiating. Interment will be in Portersville Methodist Cemetery, Stockton.4

Lewis and his wife Lottie (Wessells). Based on these two listing, it is assumed that she was the daughter of Alfred Wessells' daughter, Missouri C., who evidently married a Turlington.
