Biography*Miss Amelia Lewis died on 15 Aug 1943, aged 90 years, at the home of Mr. Hugh Glenn at Saxis and was buried in the Lewis Cemetery. She was survived by one sister, Mrs. Ellen Marshall of Saxis (Pen. Ent., 20 Aug 1943). She was aged 90 years, 4 months and 23 days. Services were at the Saxis Methodist Church on 16 Aug by Revs. Bryan and Weaver (E.S. News, 20 Aug 1943). Her obituary on 27 Aug gave her middle name as Ann.
