The wife of Frederick Taylor, living near Atlantic, in the upper part of our county, eloped on last Friday with Jas. Ailworth, to parts unknown. We give the item as a mere matter of news, the parties to the elopement not being of sufficient importance to make it a subject of much comment. The woman to the transaction has figured in our courts in the past a little too disreputably to make her the subject of a sensational article, and of the man a fair estimate may be made of his worth, when we relate that he very generously donated a dollar on leaving to the support of a wife and baby boy he left behind him.2,6
