The one added by Charles Boyd seems to be the most detailed with a picture of him. Mr. Boyd placed a new stone at the gravesite showin he was born 1 Jan 1833 and died 20 Nov 1895. He also shows he was born in Southampton Co, VA, whereas the 1860 census showed he was born in North Carolina. His Virginia death record shows he was born in Nansemond Co, VA.2,3,4

Biography*Gregory Creekmore lived at 326 Jefferson St, Norfolk County DIstrict (Currently Portsmouth) VA. His occupation was listed as "Sawyer" in the 1880 Census and he was listed as disabled with a "mangled foot". Cemetery records list his death as caused by "diarrhea".
1860 Census: List Gregory Creekmore (age 25), Catherine Creekmore (age 20), Ida L. Creekmore (age 5), and Chas T. (age 7 months). Gregory's occupation is listed as "Sawyer".
The U.S. Registry of Civil, Military, and Naval Service, 1863-1959, page 518, list Gregory Creekmore at the Navy Yard, Naval Construction Dept. as a "Pitsawyer". Sawyer is an occupational term referring to someone who saws wood, particularly using a pit saw either in a saw pit or with the log on trestles above ground or operates a sawmill.
The Virginia Regimental Histories Series: List Gregory Creekmore as Enlisted in Company F, Virginia 41st Infantry Regiment (Virginia Confederate) on 04 Mar 1862. Rank listed as Private, Mustered out on May 1862.6 
Death*20 November 1894He died on 20 November 1894 at Portsmouth, VA, at age 61. His Virgina death record shows him as Gregory Creekmore, who was born in Nansemond Co, VA died 20 Nov 1894, a 61 year old married sawyer, the husband of Catharine Creekmore. One Findagrave record shows he died 1 Dec 1895 and the other shows he died 20 Nov 1895.3,4

Wyatt of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. George Grimes, and a brother, Frank Wyatt, both of Portsmouth; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Lawn cemetery." Virginian-Pilot, Nov 5, 1964.1
