Chandler, a 16 year old son.1 
Anecdote*circa 1950 A replica of the oyster boat, the William H. Van Name, that carried oysters from the York River to N.Y., was built by Capt. Tom Kenny using a pen knife to carve the sails and boat. The background is the fort at Port Richmond, Staten Island, N.Y. It was given to Capt. Cornelius Corson (1830-1896) about 1860. Ninety years later it was given to John R. Chandler (1921-1996) of Onancock, by his grandmother Sarah Maria Corson Hogg (1867-1954), who was Capt. Corson's daughter. In 2017 it was purchased by William Hogg Chandler Jr., a great-great grandson of Capt. Cornelius Corson. 
Death*6 April 1996He died on 6 April 1996 at Shore Memorial Hospital, Nassawadox, Northampton Co, VA, at age 75.2

Ames of this county, and being entitled to dower in the said lands and slaves the same has been laid off and assigned to the said John G. Ames and Nancy his wife. Elizabeth Fox, wife of said Golden Fox, during her life, and at her death to my grandson Hezekiah Wescoat Fox. To grandsons George W. McMath and Frederick Kelly, son of Abel G. Kelly, equally divided, the lot where I now reside, 20 acres, and 12 acres of woodland known as Bull's Woods. My 2 lots in Onancock to be sold, and the proceeds entered into my estate. To each of my granddaughters, Margaret Susan Bull, Bettie Lilliston, Keziah Hopkins and Mary Fox, children of my dau. Elizabeth Fox, $500. To each of the children of my son Abel G. Kelly $100. Will*30 August 1890George made a will on 30 August 1890 at Accomack Co, VA. In his will George W. McMath directed that whereas my three youngest children are not included in my $3000 life insurance policy, I hereby give to my three youngest daughters, Mammie Dunton, Pearl and Ida the baby the sum of $1000 each and direct my executor with the consent of my mother Kissia A. McMath and my wife Margaret D. McMath to have the farm where I reside at Onley Station laid out in streets and sold off in lots. I direct my executor to pay to building com. McMath, who died 11 Sep 1890 in St. George Parish of typhoid at the age of 34 years, the son of John P. & Kessie McMath. He was born in Acc Co & a merchant, the husband of Maggie D. McMath. Elizabeth Fox, wife of said Golden Fox, during her life, and at her death to my grandson Hezekiah Wescoat Fox. To grandsons George W. McMath and Frederick Kelly, son of Abel G. Will - Father's*30 August 1890Pearl was named in her father's will on 30 August 1890 at Accomack Co, VA. In his will George W. McMath directed that whereas my three youngest children are not included in my $3000 life insurance policy, I hereby give to my three youngest daughters, Mammie Dunton, Pearl and Ida the baby the sum of $1000 each and direct my executor with the consent of my mother Kissia A. McMath and my wife Margaret D. McMath to have the farm where I reside at Onley Station laid out in streets and sold off in lots. I direct my executor to pay to building com. Of Church at Onley Station the sum of $100. Exec. Albert J. McMath. Proved 29 Sep 1890. John Grant and John W. Edmonds swore to the handwriting, there being no witness. Sureties Abel G. Kelly, George W. LeCato.1
