     The 10 month old infant of Mr. Lee Marshall, who resides near Messongo Wharf, was burned to death on Saturday last. The article explains how the house caught fire and was destroyed and how the child perished in the flames (Pen. Ent., 15 Jul 1893). Evidently this was Willie, who was actually 5 months old at the time, based on his Acc birth record.      Mr. Raymond W. Trader died at home at New Church on 5 Mar 1931. Services were at Downing's Church by the Rev. Harold Ashby with interment in Downing's Cemetery. Survivors were listed, including a wife Elizabeth (E.S. News, 13 Mar 1931). Raymond was born in 1875 at Accomack Co, VA.² He married Elizabeth Frances 'Lizzie' Smith, daughter of Erastus Seymour Smith and Triphenia Janie Bonnewell, on 15 July 1896 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ Raymond was living in 1915. Raymond died on 5 March 1931 at New Church, Acc Co, VA.³ His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.²

     Elizabeth was born in 1875.² She married Raymond W. Trader, son of Thomas Columbus Trader and Sarah Jane Marshall, on 15 July 1896 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ Elizabeth died in 1964.² Her body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.²

     Floyd Thomas Trader and his wife and 4 children were living next door to his parents in the 1900 Census. They had been married 12 years and had had 4 children, all living. Since no other record has been of the two younger children, it is assumed they died young. Mr. Floyd Thomas Trader, aged 64 years, died on 14 Jan 1935. Funeral services were by Rev. Wilmer and 3 others at Bethel Church. Survivors included his widow, 2 daughters and 2 sisters, all of who were listed (E.S. News, 18 Jan 1935). Floyd was born in 1869 at Accomack Co, VA.² He married Narcissa L. 'Sissy' Rew, daughter of James Henry Rew and Margaret A. Bloxom, on 19 August 1888 at Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA.¹ He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1900 at Accomack Co, VA.³ Floyd was living in 1933 at Bloxom, Acc Co, VA.⁴ Floyd died on 14 January 1935 at Bloxom, Acc Co, VA.⁵ His body was interred at J.W. Taylor Cem, Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA.²

     Mrs. Nareissus Rew Trader, aged 76 years and widow of Floyd Trader, died on 18 Jun 1944 at the home of her duaghter, Mrs. Harry Mariner, Delmar, DE. Services were at the residence of her daughter Mrs. Leroy Stant, Grotons, on 20 Jun by Rev. Frank E. Clark with interment in the Greenwood Cemetery (J.W. Taylor's). She was a member of Hall's Chapel. Survivors were listed (E.S. News, 23 Jun 1944). Narcissa was born in 1869 at Accomack Co, VA.² She married Floyd Thomas Trader Sr., son of Thomas Columbus Trader and Sarah Jane Marshall, on 19 August 1888 at Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA.¹ She was listed as a resident in the census report in 1900 at Accomack Co, VA.³ Narcissa died on 18 June 1944 at Delmar, Sussex Co, DE.⁴ Her body was interred at J.W.      Elizabeth "Sis" (Trader) Kelly raised 3 of her grandchildren: Meta Grace Stant, Keith Kelly and Sabra Kelly. Her obituary said she died at the home of her son Marvin Kelly in Parksley, VA. Elizabeth was born in 1870 at Accomack Co, VA.² She married Jesse M. Kelly Sr., son of George W. Kelly Sr. and Elizabeth A. Duncan, on 26 December 1888 at Accomack Co, VA.³ Elizabeth was living in 1933 at Grotons, Acc Co, VA. Melinda Griffith Ennis reports that she lived at Messongo..⁴ Elizabeth died on 13 March 1953 at Parksley, Acc Co, VA.⁵ Her body was interred at Groton's Cem, Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.²

     Jesse M. Kelly Sr.'s tombstone has not been found. His wife is buried at Groton's Cemetery in Hallwood, VA. He and his wife and 4 children were living with his brother Geoge W. Kelly in 1900. Their mother, Elizabeth Kelly, age 72, was also in the household. Jesse was born circa 1867 at Accomack Co, VA.² He married Elizabeth 'Lizzie or Sis' Trader, daughter of Thomas Columbus Trader and Sarah Jane Marshall, on 26 December 1888 at Accomack Co, VA.³ He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1900 at Accomack Co, VA.² Jesse died on 2 December 1932.⁴

     Melinda Griffith Ennis reports that she had no children. Marzeal was born in 1872 at Accomack Co, VA.² She married George H. Rew, son of James Henry Rew and Margaret A. Bloxom, on 10 September 1890 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ Marzeal was living in 1915.³ Marzeal died in 1929.² Her body was interred at Bloxom Cem, Acc Co, VA.²

     Samuel P. Trader died of typhoid fever. Samuel was born on 22 November 1869 at Accomack Co, VA.² Samuel died on 1 June 1885 at Accomack Co, VA, at age 15.³ His body was interred at Messongo Baptist Ch Cem, Acc Co, VA.²

     The birth year for Grace E. Trader could be wrong. Mrs. Nettie (Trader) Simkims remembered that she was 3 years old when she died of diptheria. Grace was born on 10 July 1891 at Accomack Co, VA.² Grace died on 11 October 1891 at infancy.² Her body was interred at Knight's Cem, Messongo, Acc Co, VA.²

     Raymond R. Trader listed his age as 38 in 1865 when he registered for the draft. Raymond was born circa 1836 at Accomack Co, VA.² Raymond was listed with another family in the census of in 1850 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as Raymond Trader, age 14 in HH#998 headed by Thomas Hall, a 35 year old farmer..² He married Elizabeth 'Betsy' Chase, daughter of Robert J. Chase Jr. and Nancy Lewis, on 27 December 1853 at Accomack Co, VA.³ He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1860 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA.⁴

     Lillie was born in 1889 at Accomack Co, VA.² She was listed as a resident in the census report in 1900 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ She married Harry L. Mariner circa 1910.³ Lillie was living on 18 June 1944 at Delmar, Sussex Co, DE. Lillie died in 1972.² Her body was interred at J.W. Taylor Cem, Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA.²

     Harry was born in 1885 at Delmar, Sussex Co, DE.^1,2 He married Lillie M. Trader, daughter of Floyd Thomas Trader Sr. and Narcissa L. 'Sissy' Rew, circa 1910.³ Harry died in 1941.¹ His body was interred at J.W. Taylor Cem, Temperanceville, Acc Co, VA.¹

     Clifton was born on 8 April 1908 at Accomack Co, VA.² Clifton died on 21 July 1946 at age 38.² His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.³

     According to Melinda Griffith Ennis, she had 2 daughters and lived in Nelsonia. Hilda was born on 8 October 1900 at Hallwood, Acc Co, VA.¹ She married Donald Preston Killmon, son of Henry Thomas Killmon and Georgianna Gladding, on 5 December 1920 at at Somerset Bridge, Som Co, MD.¹ Hilda died in 1962.² Her body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA.²

     Donald was born on 28 April 1895 at Mearsville, Acc Co, VA.¹ He married Marietta 'Mary Etta' Littleton, daughter of Robert Thomas Littleton Sr. and Clara T. Bloxom, circa 1915.¹ He married Hilda Grace Trader, daughter of Raymond W. Trader and Elizabeth Frances 'Lizzie' Smith, on 5 December 1920 at at Somerset Bridge, Som Co, MD.¹ Donald died on 2 September 1984 at age 89. His body was interred at Downing's Cem, Oak Hall, Acc Co, VA. His tombstone shows him as Donald P. Killmon, husband of Hilda G. Killmon, 1895 - 1984..²

     Walter was born on 17 March 1899 at Accomack Co, VA. He was listed as a resident in the census report in 1900 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ Walter died on 25 March 1947 at age 48.

     Elizabeth was born in 1923. Elizabeth died in 1924.

     Charles was living at Delmar, MD. Charles was born on 4 January 1936. Charles died in August 1983 at age 47.

     Marcella was born on 20 August 1911 at Accomack Co, VA.² She married Norman E. Wessells, son of Luther Edward Wessells and Sarah T. 'Sadie S.' Bonnewell, circa 1935.¹ Marcella died on 10 November 1980 at age 69.² Her body was interred at Edgehill Cem, Accomac, Acc Co, VA.²

     Norman was born on 6 March 1908 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ He married Marcella Trader, daughter of Raymond W. Trader and Elizabeth Frances 'Lizzie' Smith, circa 1935.² Norman was living in 1937 at Daughery, Acc Co, VA. Norman died on 6 June 1961 at age 53.¹ His body was interred at Edgehill Cem, Accomac, Acc Co, VA.¹

     Daniel was born on 14 May 1946. Daniel died on 16 April 1965 at age 18.
