It was on this date that Richard Woodcraft patented 217 acres in Bogerternortin Hunderd called Farlowworth. The Rent Rolls of 1666-1723 showed him in possession.2 He married Mary (-----) (Hall? or Howard?) circa 1685.1 Richard Woodcraft I patented land on 2 October 1687 at Smithfield, Pitts Creek, Worcester Co, MD. It was on this date that Richard Woodcraft patented 153 acres called Smithfield in Pitts Creek Hundred.3 He patented land on 13 September 1702 at Hopewell, Worcester Co, MD. It was on this date that Roger(sic) Woodcraft patented 200 acres called Hopewell. In 1719 Richard Woodcraft willed it to sons William and Thomas Woodcraft.4 Richard witnessed a will on 8 December 1703 at Worcester Co, MD. It was on this date that Samuel Hopkins Sr, Richard Woodcraft and John Walton witnessed the will of William Cord Sr.5 He patented land on 4 March 1708 at Cellar, Worcester Co, MD. It was for 175 acres. Rent Rolls 1666-1723 showed it was possessed by Richard Woodcraft.6 He bought land circa 1715 at Cow Quarter, Worcester Co, MD. He evidently bought 250 acres of Cow Quarter from Ambrose White, who patented it as 500 acres in 1677. He willed it to his sons John (who died young) and Richard. In 1738 Richard & his wife Sarah sold it to his brother William.7 Richard made a will on 20 March 1719 at Worcester Co, MD. To wife Mary. To son John tracts Dumfries, Cow Quarter & Alsocleage. He was given plantation Hopewell and Alsocleage.2 He married Mary Howard, daughter of Geroge Howard Sr. and Sarah Massey, circa 1732 at Worcester Co, MD.3 William Ezekiel Woodcraft sold land on 12 February 1734 at Cellar, Worcester Co, MD. It was on this date that William Woodcraft sold 25 acres of Cellar to William Cobb, with part of Hopewell that Richard Woodcraft willed to sons William & Thomas.4 He patented land in 1737 at Woodcrafts Purchase, Worcester Co, MD. It was in this year that William Woodcraft patented 150 acres called Woodcrafts Purchase. Then on 6 Feb 1738 he sold the 150 acres to John Patrick Dulaney.5 He sold land on 6 February 1738 at Hopewell, Worcester Co, MD. It was on this date that William Woodcraft sold 40 acres of Hopewell to John Patrick Dulany. And on 26 Feb 1738 he sold to William Cobb the part that was his brother Thomas Woodcraft, who died young.6 He bought land on 26 February 1738 at Cow Quarter, Worcester Co, MD. It was on this date that Richard Woodcraft with wife Sarah sold the tract called Cow Quarter, which he an dhis borther John inherited from their father Richard, to his brother William Woodcraft. Evidently John had died and his part went to his brother Richard.7 He patented land on 2 June 1755 at Woodcrafts Venture, Worcester Co, MD. It was on this date that William Ezekiel Woodcraft patented 100 acres called Woodcrafts Venture. On 15 Jan 1760 he sold the 100 acres to Solomon Rogers.1 He sold land on 1 September 1761 at Cow Quarter, Worcester Co, MD. It was on this date that William Woodcraft sold James Gray 5 1/2 acres of tract Cow Quarter.7 William witnessed a will on 7 September 1776 at Sussex Co, DE. It was on this date that Andrew Williams, William Woodcraft & John Mideap witnessed the will of John Coffan wife Comfort.8 He died before 19 June 1780 at Worcester Co, MD. It was on this date that Leah Wildridge, Anna Ake, Ezekiel Williams and wife Elizabeth Williams, Arthur Williams with wife Tabitha Williams, Thomas Taylor iwth wife Mary Taylor, all of Sussex Co, DE sold the 175 acre tract Cellar to William Jordan Hall, which was originally patented to Richard Woodcraft on 4 Mar 1708. The wives were evidently the daughters of William Woodcraft, the son of Richard Woodcraft the Patentee.4
