     William Sullivan was born circa 1770 at Accomack Co, VA.¹ William was named in his father's will on 18 August 1798 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as son William in the will of Daniel Sillivan. He was given land & plantation where I now live.¹

     Dorman Sullivan II was born circa 1682 at Accomack Co, VA.² Dorman was named in his father's will on 22 March 1691/92 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as son Dorman (under 18) in the will of Dorman Silevant, wife no name. Dormand Silvant left to his sons Daniel and Dormand his remaining 250 acres of tract A13 on the north side of Occohannack Creek. Daniel was to have the home part on the creek.^2,3 He bought land in 1711 at Occohannock Creek, Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that Dorman Sullivant bought 125 acres of tract A13 from Peter Watson, which seems strange, as Dormand had never sold his part to Peter's father Robert Watson (who left the land to his sons Robert & Peter Watson in 1709). A little later Dormand Silivant and Robert Watson Jr. formally divided the 250 acres, but 2 years later Dorman, an Inn Dweller, sold his 125 acres to Robert Watson, Turner, so it was all together again.³ He married Susanna (-----) circa 1720.¹ Dorman was named in his father-in-law's will on 27 August 1720 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as son-in-law (meaning step-son) Dormund Sullvant and named Extr in the will of William Hughs.⁴ He bought land in 1738 at Occohannock Creek, Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that Dorman Siluent bought 50 acres in the northwest corner of tract A15 from Aaron & Catharine Acar. He left no will but seems to have been succeeded by a son Daniel, and in 1798 Daniel left to his son William. In 1803 processioning records gave the owner as Susanna Sullivan, beyond which point it was not traced.¹

     Dorman Sullivan I was born circa 1635.¹ He married Anne Mecarrell on 20 October 1661 at Hungars Parish, N'hamp Co, VA.² Dorman Sullivan I bought land in 1664 at Occohannack Creek, Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that Dorman Selevant and John Fawsett bought 500 acres (tract A13 on north side of Occohannock Creek) from Nathaniel Bradford and his wife Alice.³ He patented land in 1666 at Occohannack Creek, Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that a patent was issued to Dorman Suellivant for 450 acres (tract A13 on the North side of Occohannock Creek) to include his half and 200 acres of new land at the head of the creek.³ He served on a jury on 17 January 1665/66 at Accomack Co, VA. At the next court the following persons were to take the oath of a juryman: Phillip Fisher, Giles Cope, Bartholomew Meeres, John Eyres, John Watts (cooper), Jno. Turner, Dorman Selevant, Edward Dolby, Thomas Marshall, Luke Denwood and John Holden.⁴ He was on the list of tithables at Accomack Co, VA, in 1674. He was shown as Derman Swilliam with 4 tiths on Capt. Southy Littleton's list.⁵ He was on the list of tithables at Accomack Co, VA, in 1675. He was shown as Dorm. Sullivan with 3 tiths on Capt. Edmd. Scarburgh's list.⁶ He was on the list of tithables at Accomack Co, VA, in 1677. He was shown as Dormt. Sullivant with 3 tiths on Capt. Edmd. Scarburgh's list.⁷ He was on the list of tithables at Accomack Co, VA, in 1678. He was shown as Dorm. Sulivant with 3 tiths.⁸ He married Elizabeth (-----) circa 1680.³ Dorman Sullivan I sold land in 1683 at Occohannack Creek, Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that Dorman Sellivant and his wife Elizabeth sold the 200 acres of new land to George Anthony.³ It was on this date that Capt. Nathaniel Walker wrote his will and mentioned his 237 acres on Occohannock Creek in Accomack County which was bounded by the land of Dorman Sulevant & others.⁹ He was on the list of tithables at Accomack Co, VA, in 1691. He was shown as Dormt. Sullivant with 3 tiths on Mr. Rich Bally's list. (NOTE: This was the last year he was shown on the tithable list which continued until 1695.).¹⁰ Dorman made a will on 22 March 1691/92 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as Dorman Silevant. To sons Daniel & Dorman (both under 18) plantation where I now live. To daughter Mary Selevant. Wife (no name) Exec. Witt: Christopher Stokelee, Daniel Darby, William French. Whitelaw shows that Dormand Silivant, whose wife's name was not given, but she was still the same Elizabeth, left (his 250 acres of tract A13) to his sons Daniel and Dormand, the former to have the home part on the creek.¹¹ He died before 22 June 1692 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that his will was probated.^3,11

Kellam and Rosa Ann 'Annie' Hyslop, on 28 December 1881 at Garrison's Chapel, Acc Co, VA. He was shown as James Hy Kellam, a 26 year old farmer the son of Edward W. & Annie Kellam and she was shown as Georgie E. Garrison, daughter of George & Juliet Garrison.^2,1 As of 28 December 1881,her married name was Kellam.² Georgie Elizabeth Garrison died on 7 March 1930 at age 66.¹

     Sarah W. Rogers was born on 18 May 1855 at Accomack Co, VA.² As of 1 June 1870,her married name was Kellam.¹ She married James E. Kellam, son of Sally Kellam, on 1 June 1870 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as James Kellam, a 45 year old widowed farmer, the son of Sally Kellam and she was shown as Sarah W. Rodgers, age 19, the daughter of Susan Rodgers.¹ Sarah W. Rogers died on 12 March 1937 at age 81.²

     Helen Goodwyn Joynes was born on 26 October 1889 at Onancock, Acc Co, VA. In the Acc Co birth register she was shown as Hellen Joynes who was born on 8 Nov 1889, the daughter of Godwin G. Joynes, a teacher living in St. Georges Parish, and his wife Sallie W. Joynes. Her father gave the information. The Social Security Death Index shows she was born 26 Oct 1888. Her tombstone in Baltimore shows 26 Oct 1889.^2,3 As of 15 October 1921,her married name was Toulson.⁴ She married Dr. William Houston Toulson on 15 October 1921.⁴ Helen Goodwyn Joynes died in January 1981 at Baltimore, MD, at age 91.³

     Dr. William Houston Toulson was born on 14 July 1887 at Chestertown, MD.¹ He married Helen Goodwyn Joynes, daughter of George Goodwyn Joynes and Sarah Wright Northam, on 15 October 1921.¹

     Martha 'Patsy' Polk was born circa 1782 at Accomack Co, VA.² Martha was named in her grandfather's will on 31 January 1784 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as my granddaughter Martha Polk in the will of William Bradford, wife Sarah. He also named a daughter Sabra Polk and a son-in-law William Polk.² Martha was named in her grandmother's will on 3 October 1794 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as granddaughter Patty Polk in the will of Sarah Bradford. Her estate was to remain in the hands of henry Townsend until she comes to age to receive it.³ As of 23 October 1810,her married name was Fitchett.¹ She married Joshua T. Fitchett Sr., son of John Fitchett and (d/o Jno) Satchell, on 23 October 1810 at Accomack Co, VA. Thomas Sturgis was the security on the M.L.B. of Joshua Fitchett and Patsy Polk.¹ Martha was named in her husband's will on 22 November 1825 at Northampton Co, VA. She was shown as wife Patsy Fitchett in the will of Joshua Fitchett Senr.⁴ She died before 10 January 1842 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that administration on the estate of Mrs. Martha Fitchett was granted to Daniel Fitchett. Bond $10,000. Appraisers: John E. Nottingham, Severn E. Nottingham, George P.      Nancy Fitchett was born circa 1792 at Northampton Co, VA.¹ As of 8 February 1809,her married name was Evans.¹ She married William S. Evans on 8 February 1809 at Northampton Co, VA. James Travis was the security on the M.L.B. of William S. Evans and Nancy Fitchett, daughter of Joshua Fitchett Sr & his wife who gave consent.¹ Nancy was named in her father's will on 22 November 1825 at Northampton Co, VA. She was shown as daughter Nancy Evans in the will of Joshua Fitchett Senr. wife Patsy.¹

     William S. Evans was born circa 1785 at Northampton Co, VA.¹ He married Nancy Fitchett, daughter of Joshua T. Fitchett Sr. and Elizabeth Floyd, on 8 February 1809 at Northampton Co, VA.      Joshua Fitchett III was born circa 1724 at Northampton Co, VA.¹ Joshua was named in his father's will on 26 January 1727/28 at Northampton Co, VA. He was shown as son Joshua (under age) in the will of Thomas Fitchett, wife Cleare.² He married Grace (-----) circa 1750 at Northampton Co, VA.¹ Joshua witnessed a will on 11 June 1756 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that Thomas Respess, David Barrett & Joshua Fitchet witness the will of Robert Tower, wife Tamar.³ Joshua was named in his uncle's will on 28 September 1761 at Northampton Co, VA. He was shown as my cousin (meaning nephew) Joshua Fitchet in the will of John Fitchet, wife Sarah. John named his wife Sarah and my cousin Joshua Fitchett as Extrs.⁴ Joshua was named as administrator of an estate on 13 April 1762 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that administration on the estate of Sarah Fitchet was granted to Joshua Fitchett. Apprs: Nathaniel Stratton, John Guy, John Haggoman, William Jarvis.⁴ Joshua made a will on 1 July 1765 at Northampton Co, VA. To eldest son Daniel plantation whereon I now live. To loving wife Grace use of my land and estate during her widowhood, and then to be div. by her and all my children. Son Joshua to have land of Isaac Jones if morgage falls to me. Wife and friend William Trower extrs. Witt: Thomas Underhill, William Jarvis, Joshua Fitchett. Codicil 1 July 1765 - Gold rings to wife and my dau. Anne. If wife dies before children are of age then my brother Daniel Fitchet to take them. Witt: John 'X' Dixon, Thomas Underhill.¹ He died before 10 June 1766 at Northampton Co, VA. She was shown as wife Grace in the will of Joshua Fitchett.¹

     (-----) (-----) was born circa 1700.¹ She married Edmund [34] Scarburgh the younger, son of Col. Edmund [11] Scarburgh (III) and Elizabeth Mitchell, circa 1720.¹ As of circa 1720,her married name was Scarburgh.¹

     Samuel Meredith was born circa 1722 at Western Shore, VA.¹ On 7 Nov 1772 on the Western Shore of the Chesapeake Bay at the house of Mr. William Meredith, Samuel Meridith, of lawfull age, deposed that some time after his sister married the defendant Isaac Dunton, that he went to the Eastern Shore to Mr. Isaac Duntin's and while there the complainant Edmund Scarburgh and the defendant differed and the defendant desired the complainant not to do him any private mischief, but that he was his enemy and was determined to ruin him. Edmund Scarburgh said if his mother would quite her now husband Isaac Dunton he would maintain her for life as a lady and the reason given was the ill ways she received from Mr. Dunton.¹

On 7 Nov 1772 Nancy Meredith, of full age, gave a deposition at Mr. William Meredith's house on the Western Shore that she was married to Mr. William Meridth, when on 13 Apr 1758 her husband Mr. William Meridith and herself came home to his fathers house and the complainant Edmund Scarburgh lived at his grandfather's Mr. William Meredith and that some time that summer Mr. Isaac Dunton and his wife came over the Bay to her father's Mr. Merediths and Mrs. Dunton than had her first child by Mr. Dunton in her arms and Edmund Scarburgh was then living at his grandfather's, Mr. Merediths, and that he never went to the Eastern Shore till he went to live with Mr. Dunton.¹

She was shown as Kessy Lilliston in the will of Sally Cropper, widow.³ As of 30 August 1817,her married name was Hickman.¹ She married Asa Hickman, son of Thomas Hickman and Dulaney 'Laney' Lilliston, 30 Aug 1817 (bond) at Accomack Co, VA. Michael Riggins and John Watson were security on the M.L.B. of Asa Hickman of Thomas and Kessey Lilliston of Selby.¹ Kessey Lilliston died before 25 April 1825 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that Asa Hickman, widower, married Elizabeth Bell of Esther.¹ Kessey was named as an heir on 30 November 1830 at Accomack Co, VA. John Lilliston, James Lilliston, James Hickman, son of Kessey Hickman and Mary Lilliston are the heirs at law of Kessey & Margaret Lilliston, devisees of Sally Cropper, only heir at law of John Cropper dec'd, a carpenter in the Virginia Navy in the Rev. War. Another record shows that John Cropper, formerly a carpenter in the Virginia Navy during the Rev. War, died intestate by 28 Jun 1831.⁴
