Henry Chance II was born circa 1678 at Accomack Co, VA.1 It was on this date that John Bagwell brought an action for 600 feet of one inch planks against Henry Chance, who failed to appear. Judgment would pass against him and his security, Robert Stanton, if Chance did not appear at the next court.2 He sold land in 1739 at Accomack Co, VA. It was in this year that Henry Chance II sold 100 acres of tract A48 between Keller and Wachapreague to George Green saying it had been given to him by his father. The next year Jacob Chance, evidently another son of Henry I, gave a deed to George Green for the same land.1
