It was in this year, the same year that Thomas Crippen (I)'s will was probated, leaving land to his son Paul, another Thomas, son of John dec'd, and a William Crippen, both of Kent upon Delaware, gave a quitclaim deed to Paul Crippen. From that it is assumed that Thomas Crippen (I) must have had a son John as his eldest son and heir-at-law; neither the son John nor any of his children were mentioned in the will of the father, so the later may have been uncertain what had become of them..3

Atterlanter was born circa 1768 at Accomack Co, VA. Atterlanter was named in her grandmother's will on 23 July 1772 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as granddaughter Atterlanter Evans in the will of Patience Crippen and given £4 for schooling & if she dies before she is big enough to go to school, then to be divided by her brother & sister John & Sarah Evans..2 As of circa 1784,her married name was Delastatius.3 She married Severn Delastatius, son of Lemuel Delastatius and (w/o Lemuel Delastatius) (-----) (Selby?), circa 1784. Mrs. Turman shows her as Atterlanter Evans, who went by Ann. However, Atta was the nick name for Atterlanter, not Ann. Perhaps Severn Delastatius did marry Atterlanter Evans and after her death he married an Ann. Another possibility is that she was Ann Evans, daughter of Jesse Evans Jr. and his wife Elizabeth Crippen.4,5
