     Margaret was born on 29 August 1710 at Northampton Co, VA.² She married Maj. William (10) Waters, son of William (4) Waters and Isabel Harmanson, on 26 March 1728 at Northampton Co, VA.³ As of 1732,her married name was Burton.³ She married William Burton III, Gent., son of William Burton II and Frances (-----), in 1732.³ Margaret (19) Robins inherited land in 1739 at Northampton Co, VA. According to Whitelaw, the will of William Waters was not found, but in 1739 the dower land was laid out for the unnamed widow who had married William Burton.⁴ She died in August 1753 at Northampton Co, VA.² Margaret was buried at King's Creek Plantation, N'hamp Co, VA. Her tombstone shows her as Margaret Burton, 29 Aug 1710 - Aug 1753.² Administration of Margaret estate was filed on 11 December 1754 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that administration on the estate of Margaret Burton was granted to William Burton, husband of the dec'd with Griffin Stith security.⁵

It was on this date that administration on the estate of Elizabeth Burton, formerly the widow of Thomas Eyre, was granted to William Burton, husband of the dec'd, also to admtr upon Elizabeth's part (£365 19s 2p) of her two dec'd children's estates, viz., Esiah and Thomas Eyre.³ He married Margaret (19) Robins, daughter of John (8) Robins and Catherine Teackle, in 1732.⁶ William Burton III, Gent. was named as the executor of a will on 7 January 1737/38 at Northampton Co, VA. He was shown as my father-in-law (meaning step-father) William Burton in the will of Neech Eyre and named Extr. (NOTE: It is not clear how he was his step-father.).⁷ He sold land in 1742 at Northampton Co, VA. It was in this year that William Burton sold the 734-acre plantation (the Daniel Eyre part of Whitelaw's tract N5) to Ralph Pigot. This was the land that James and Margarey Miers, Jabez Maud Fisher and Joshua Fisher, all of Sussex County deeded to him in 1728 and that Jabaz Maud Fisher, as heir-at-law of Thomas Booth, and James Fisher, both of Sussex County, deeded to him in 1737.⁸ He bought land between 1742 and 1764 at Northampton Co, VA. It was in these years that William Burton bought several parcels of land in Whitelaw's tract N30, Old Plantation Neck, and when he died in 1770 he owned all but 100 acres of the neck.⁹ William was named as administrator of an estate on 11 December 1754 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that administration on the estate of Margaret Burton was granted to William Burton, husband of the dec'd with Griffin Stith security.¹⁰ William made a will on 1 November 1769 at Northampton Co, VA. His tombstone shows him as William Burton, who died 9 Jan 1770, age 70 years.¹

     William was born circa 1729 at Northampton Co, VA. William was living in 1757 at Williamsburg, VA. He died unmarried..¹

     Sarah (24) Waters, who married David Meade in 1768, would have to have to been born before 1730 in order to be the daughter of Major William (10) Waters who died in 1730. Dorman's letter to Hen. says "I agree with your conclusion that Sarah was the daughter of Wm. Waters of Williamsburg. I should have noted more carefully the document of 7 Nov 1757 abstracted on pg 200 of the National Genealogical Quarterley Vol. 62 pg 200 since William states he is the only child of William Waters. To make matters worse, in order to account for Sarah Waters Meade being an heiress, I killed off Wm. of Williamsburg as being unmarried. It is now abundantly evident that he married and that Sarah Meade inherited as his daughter." We have put a copy of Dorman's letter at the library in Accomack. Dr. Miles Barnes says he will put it in the third volume. Nancy Garrett. Sarah was born circa 1750 at Northampton Co, VA. She married David Meade, son of David Meade and Susannah Everard, on 12 May 1768.² Sarah died on 28 September 1828 at Lexington, KY.²

     Zerrubabel was born on 25 August 1690 at Northampton Co, VA.¹ Zerrubabel was named in his grandfather's will on 2 November 1704 at Northampton Co, VA. He was shown as grandson Zorobable Preeson in the will of Thomas Brown, wife Susanna.² Zerrubabel was named in his brother-in-law's will on 18 February 1711 at Accomack Co, VA. He was shown as brother-in-law Zerobabell Preeson in the will of George Hack, wife Sarah.³ He married Margaret (11) Waters, daughter of William (4) Waters and Isabel Harmanson, circa 1715 at Northampton Co, VA.¹ Zerrubabel died before 9 October 1722 at Northampton Co, VA.^1,4

     Thomas was born circa 1655. He married Elizabeth Browne (Quaker), daughter of Thomas Browne (Quaker) and Susanna Denwood (Quaker), circa 1690.¹ Thomas made a will on 3 April 1723 at Northampton Co, VA.² He died before 9 July 1723 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that his will was probated.²

     Elizabeth was born circa 1674. She married Thomas Preeson circa 1690.² As of circa 1690,her married name was Preeson.² Elizabeth was named in her father's will on 2 November 1704 at Northampton Co, VA. She was shown as my daughter Elizabeth in the will of Thomas Brown, wife Susanna. She was shown as Elizabeth Preeson at probate. He also named a grandson Zorobable Preeson.¹ She was named as the executor of a will on 4 February 1714 at Northampton Co, VA. She was shown as Elizabeth Preeson, wife of Thomas Preeson, and named Extr in the will of Susanna Browne, widow. At probate she gave her attestation instead of oath, meaning she was a Quaker.³ Elizabeth was named in her husband's will on 3 April 1723 at Northampton Co, VA. She was shown as my wife Elizabeth in the will of Thomas Preeson. She made her solemn affirmation at probate.⁴ Elizabeth made a will on 8 September 1732 at Northampton Co, VA. To my grandson Thomas Preeson my 600 A. plantation whereon his mother lives if, when he attains to age, he conveys 600 A. that my husband Thomas Preeson sold to Hill Drummond to those persons whom Hill Drummond gave it to. If he refuses then the said land to my son Brown Preeson. To my grandson John Gibson two n. men bought of Thomas Blair in Accomack and n. man Jacko if his mother pays Matt Harmanson £16 19s 2p. My dau. Hannah to be under the care of my dau. Susannah. To dau. Hannah n. girl Kesiah. To my dau. Susanna half the fourth part, and to my son Brown the eighth part of the cattle here and at Assawoman. My son Brown and dau. Susannah extrs. Friends Jonathan Stott and Matt Harmanson overseers. Witt: Matt Harmanson, James Hill, Sarah 'X' Gibbons.² She died before 12 June 1733 at Northampton Co, VA. It was on this date that her will was probated. The will appointed extrx., Susannah Preeson, is now Susannah Bowdoin by her marriage to Peter Bowdoin. Susannah gave her solemn affirmation (being a Quaker) to qualify as extrx.²

     John was born circa 1690. He married Margaret (11) Waters, daughter of William (4) Waters and Isabel Harmanson, on 1 May 1730 at Northampton Co, VA.¹

     Isabel was born circa 1715 at Northampton Co, VA.

     Abigail was born circa 1695 at Accomack Co, VA. Abigail was named in her grandfather's will on 12 February 1707 at Accomack Co, VA. She was shown as a granddaughter Abigail Upshur in the will of Arthur Upshur.³ Abigail was named in her grandmother's will on 4 February 1714 at Northampton Co, VA. She was shown as Abigal Upshur and given Negro girl Comfort in the will of Susanna Browne, widow.⁴ She married William (12) Waters, son of Richard (6) Waters and Elizabeth (16) Littleton, circa 1720.⁵ Abigail was named in her father's will on 26 May 1738 at Accomack Co, VA.² She married Capt. David (38) Wilson, son of Ephraim Wilson and Elizabeth (21) Davis, on 6 November 1743.⁵ Abigail died before 23 October 1764 at Somerset Co, MD.⁵

     His common name was David. David was born on 25 December 1704 at Somerset Co, MD.² He married Elizabeth 'Betty' (39) Denwood, daughter of Arthur Denwood and Esther (12) Robins, circa 1725.^2,3 Capt. David (38) Wilson was given 400 acres called "Berray's Lott" in the will of his cousin John (17) Davis of Somerset Co, MD. He was a planter, justice 1732-38, appointed deputy surveyor, 1744, and member of the Lower House of the Maryland Assembly 1744-45, and an elder of Manokin Presbyterian Church.² He married Abigail Upshur, daughter of Arthur Upshur (II) and Sarah Browne, on 6 November 1743.⁴ Capt. David Wilson was a planter of Somerset Co, MD, Justice, captain of militia, and member of the Maryland Assembly 1744-45.³ David died on 15 November 1750 at Somerset Co, MD, at age 45.²

     Richard was born circa 1722 at Somerset Co, MD. He married Eleanor Gillis circa 1745.²

     Elizabeth was born circa 1724 at Somerset Co, MD. Elizabeth was named as an heir on 31 December 1759 at Philadelphia, PA. She was perhaps the Elizabeth Waters of Philadelphia named in the will of Tubman (37) Lowes..¹

     Sarah was born circa 1726 at Somerset Co, MD. She married Whitty McClemmy on 4 August 1751.

     Elizabeth was born circa 1720. She married Littleton (14) Waters, son of Richard (6) Waters and Elizabeth (16) Littleton, circa 1740.¹

     Sarah was born circa 1700.

     Sarah was born circa 1742 at Calvert Co, MD. Sarah was named in her father's will on 21 June 1750 at Lower Marlborough, MD. It was on this date that she was left her father's dwelling house in Lower Marlborough, MD..¹ Sarah died before 25 July 1789.¹

     Elizabeth was born circa 1744 at Calvert Co, MD. As of circa 1765,her married name was Marine.¹ She married (-----) Marine circa 1765.¹

     (-----) was born circa 1740. He married Elizabeth (31) Waters, daughter of Littleton (14) Waters and Elizabeth Birkhead, circa 1765.¹

     Esther was born on 30 December 1746 at Calvert Co, MD. She married Littleton (44) Waters, son of John (18) Waters and Mary Elizabeth Hack, on 24 December 1765 at Coventry Parish, Som Co, MD.² Esther died on 2 February 1780 at Coventry Parish, Som Co, MD, at age 33.²

     Littleton was born on 30 December 1742 at Coventry Parish, Som Co, MD. He married Esther (32) Waters, daughter of Littleton (14) Waters and Elizabeth Birkhead, on 24 December 1765 at Coventry Parish, Som Co, MD.² Littleton died on 28 January 1778 at Somerset Co, MD, at age 35.²

     Dorothy was born circa 1748 at Calvert Co, MD.

     Francis was born circa 1690. He married Elizabeth (15) Waters, daughter of Richard (6) Waters and Elizabeth (16) Littleton, circa 1710.¹ Francis died before 6 May 1738 at Calvert Co, MD.¹

     Francis was born circa 1715 at Calvert Co, MD. Francis died before 29 December 1747.¹

     Richard was born circa 1717 at Calvert Co, MD.

     Elizabeth was born circa 1720 at Calvert Co, MD. She married John (39) Waters, son of John (18) Waters and Mary Elizabeth Hack, circa 1752.¹

     Henry Lowes was a merchant of Somerset Co, MD, captain of a brigantine, 1747, and owner of a number of ships, member of the Lower House of the Maryland Assembly, 1757-58, who had property in Whitehaven, England. Henry was born circa 1695. He married Esther (16) Waters, daughter of Richard (6) Waters and Elizabeth (16) Littleton, circa 1720.¹ Henry died before 24 July 1767 at Somerset Co, MD.¹
