The balance of my whole estate should be divided among the children & grand children of my brothers Francis, John, Arthur and my sister Rachel Roberts in the following manner. One fourth to be equally divided between the children of my brother Francis Roberts. One fourth to the children and grandchildren of my brother John Roberts viz: to the children of Sally Hickman (the wife of Edward Hickman) one third of the one fourth, to Polly Floyd (widow of Benjamin Floyd) one third, and to Mary Anne Roberts daughter of John D. Roberts one third. But in case the said Mary Anne Roberts dies before she arrives at lawful age or marries then it is my will that the property go to Polly Floyd. To the children and grandchildren of my brother Arthur Roberts I will and desire one fourth to be divided among them; to Thomas and George, sons of Arthur Roberts one fourth each, to Joshua C.
