Soon after his inheritance George Coleburn began selling off small parcels, and in 1795 he sold a balance of 43 acres to his brother Isaac, calling his home Little Rest.3 He married Leah Parker, daughter of Robert Parker (Watts Island) and Hannah (-----), circa 1805.4 Isaac made a will on 28 March 1811 at Accomack Co, VA. The profits arising from my land & grist mill to my brother Samuel Coleburn. To sons Thomas Coleburn & Samuel Coleburn for the term of 10 years for the use of their education & at the expiration of that time, to Samuel Coleburn my land & grist mill. To Elizabeth Coleburn of Robert Coleburn my Negro girl Bridget & ... To Caty Coleburn & Mary Ann Coleburn the remainder. Joice Coleburn Extr. Witt: William Phillips, William S. Martin & Peter Martin. According to Whitelaw he left his land and a mill on Nickawampus Branch to his nephews Thomas & Samuel, sons of a brother Samuel. Then in 1829 Samuel Coleburn sold Little Rest and 97 acres to Albert D. Ward.5,3 Isaac was named as administrator of an estate on 29 May 1815 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that administration on the estate of George Coleburn was granted to Isaac Coleburn with William Coleburn, Edward A. Revell & Thomas A. Bradford securities.6 He died before 26 July 1819 at Accomack Co, VA. It was on this date that his will was probated.5
