Mason and Mary A., his wife, sold the Margaret Justice land to Spencer R. Nelson and George P. Parkes for $1200 (Acc Co Deeds 55. p. 27). The land was again called Hell Town. Nelson and Parks built a store on the corner. The first post office here, named Nelsonia after Mr. Nelson, was located in the store in 1885. On 10 Sep 1887, Asa J. Bundick bought the store building (Acc Co Deeds 59, p. 395) and sold general merchandise and barrels here until his death in 1927..5 Margaret died on 10 March 1875 at Accomack Parish, Acc Co, VA. William James Lewers III (1830-1910) was the oldest child of William II and Mary Lewers and therefore he carried the name of this father and grandfather. He was born in New York City and in his early years he followed his father's business as a newscarrier. He had a route through the financial district of Wall Street. He married three times but family records to not reveal the names of his wives or the facts of their births or deaths. He had two children by his first wife; his older son was of course named William IV. His daughter was Mary and married Steve Burrows (Burroughs?). The second wife had four children, of whom three survived. Of the third wife, the least said the better. She is alleged to have deserted him, absconding with his lifetime savings. In a subsequent period of great poverty he moved to a farm owned by his son-in-law, Steve Burrows in Atlantic, VA. He continued to live in Virginia with his son and daughter-in-law, and indeed outlived his son."
William was born on 12 April 1830 at New York City, NY.1,2 William died on 24 October 1910 at age 80.1 His body was interred at Nelson's Cem, MD-VA line, Acc Co, VA. He is shown on this tombstone as William J. Lewers Sr..1

John Wright sold his inherited land to his brother William in 1796, and brother Thomas bought from William in 1812. John was born circa 1778 at Accomack Co, VA. He married Elizabeth 'Betsey' Dunton on 17 February 1802 at Northampton Co, VA. John Simkins was the security on the M.L.B. of John Wright and Betsey Dunton. They were married between 1 Jan and 30 Mar 1802 by J. Elliott..2 John died before 1820. John Wright was not listed in Accomack County by the 1810 census. He was apparently deceased by 1820, when Elizabeth Wright was given as head of a household, aged 26 to 45, with two females under 10 years and two males of 16 to 26. If these males were John Wright's sons, nothing more has been found of them..
